Refund Policy

At Posh Party, we understand that plans can change. This Refund Policy outlines how cancellations, changes, and refunds are handled for all rental and event bookings.

1. Booking Deposits

  • A non-refundable deposit of 30–50% is required to confirm all bookings.
  • This deposit holds your rental items and event date and is not refundable under any circumstances, including client cancellations or date changes.

2. Full Payment

  • Full payment must be received no later than 3 days before the event.
  • If payment is not received by the due date, the booking may be canceled without refund of the deposit.

3. Cancellation Policy

  • More than 7 days before the event:
    • You may cancel your booking in writing (via email) and receive a refund of any payment made beyond the non-refundable deposit.
    • Alternatively, you may request a credit toward a future event (valid for 6 months), subject to availability.
  • Within 7 days of the event:
    • No refunds or credits will be issued.
    • You are responsible for the full balance due, as items and staff are reserved specifically for your event.

4. Weather-Related Cancellations

  • If your event is outdoors and cancelled due to weather, no refunds will be issued.
  • We recommend clients have a backup plan (e.g., tent or indoor location).
  • At our discretion, we may offer a one-time date reschedule (subject to availability) if you notify us at least 48 hours in advance.

5. Item Substitutions or Unavailability

  • In rare cases where an item becomes unavailable due to damage or logistics, we will:
    • Offer a similar item of equal or greater value at no extra cost
    • Or offer a full refund for that specific item

6. Refund Process

  • Approved refunds (excluding non-refundable deposits) will be processed within 5–7 business days via the original payment method or e-transfer.
  • Service fees from third-party processors (e.g., Stripe, Square) are non-refundable.

7. Custom Orders & Balloons

  • All custom-built items, balloon garlands, floral arrangements, and specialty props are non-refundable once production has begun.
  • No exceptions will be made for last-minute changes or cancellations.
